The Regional Electricity Crisis Scenarios Identification task is carried out in accordance with Article 37(1)(m) of Regulation (EU) 2019/943 and, if delegated, in line with Articles 5 and 6(1) of Regulation (EU) 2019/941. The task is related to risk-preparedness in the electricity sector and focuses on the identification of regional electricity crisis scenarios.
The process was executed in 2024, during which the regional electricity crisis scenarios were identified. Throughout the process, Baltic RCC ensured participation in relevant ENTSO-E working groups and involvement in all stages of the assessment.
The final report was shared with the relevant stakeholders. The process is scheduled to be repeated in 2028, following the established four-year cycle.
